Correia Digital Photography was started in a small Cape Cod town in 1990. As a young boy using my mom's giant 35mm camera. I would take pictures of everything. Mom once said, "Joseph, you see things that many overlook." Photography to me was, "taking pictures." As you can imagine, esthetially pleasing images were quite plentiful growing up in the Cape. I remember taking as many pictures as I could, then having to pester my mom to take me and get them developed. Only to be disappointed with the 50% that were either over or under exposed. Being a very analytical young boy, I wondered why they couldn't make a camera that would allow me to see the picture right away. If I didn't like the picture I could just delete it and take another one. Oh, if my parents had only invested in my idea!!!!

        Well it's 1990 and my brother and I are driving back from Office Depot with my new Casio digital camera. It had a one inch screen, built in memory, and took 10 photos. I didn't care because if I didn't like one of those photos, I could just delete it and take another. As the digital camera era has grown, so has my interest in photography. I know longer take pictures. As a Photographer, I caputers special moments in people's lives. I do not determine what these moments are. Thats for you to decide. Just allow me to be that fly on the wall that captures those things the that many overlook.
